Ethan Jacob White, MD
Dr. Jacob White is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Rocket City Pediatrics in Huntsville, Alabama. With a passion for holistic, attentive care, Dr. White takes the time to understand each child’s unique needs—combining evidence-based medicine with thoughtful guidance for families. He believes in empowering parents through education, helping them make informed decisions about nutrition, growth, development, and preventative care. Outside the clinic, Dr. White enjoys exploring sustainable living, gardening, and creating healthy, family-centered lifestyles that complement his commitment to pediatric health.
Katy Payne Reece, DNP, FNP-BC
Katy Reece grew up in North Alabama and is excited to serve the community where she was raised. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Before becoming an FNP, she worked in the Neonatal ICU, where she developed a deep passion for family-centered care.
Katy joined Rocket City Pediatrics in March 2025 and enjoys building relationships with families, caring for children of all ages, and supporting new parents as they gain confidence in caring for their newborns. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.
Summer Moran FNP-BC
Summer is originally from the Madison area and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. She worked as an RN in Huntsville Hospital’s Neonatal ICU for five years before earning her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She has spent the last five years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in a variety of settings, including pediatric Primary Care, Community Health, and most recently Pediatric Urgent Care. Summer is passionate about educating families on preventative medicine, nutrition, and breastfeeding. She particularly enjoys troubleshooting lactation issues and breastfed both of her own children past their first year. Summer is a proud mother of a 4-year-old and an 18-month-old.
Kristi Krueger, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C
Kristi moved to the Alabama in 2017 with 20+ years of nursing experience in crisis nursing, ER, and ICU settings. She then earned her Nursing Practice Degree from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
As a mother and nurse practitioner, Kristi has spent years not just treating patients but walking alongside families who face the same challenges she knows intimately; waiting lists, limited access, resource identification, and a healthcare system not always built for complex needs. Her personal journey as a caregiver to her children and her professional experience in family and special needs healthcare have given her a rare blend of medical expertise and deep empathy.
